What are cookies?
Cookies are small files stored on a computer, phone or tablet. Similar technologies can remember preferences or enable services embedded within a webpage.
Necessary website functions
WordPress may use strictly necessary cookies for website security, administration and logged-in user sessions. These functions cannot be disabled through the optional-cookie control because the website may not work correctly without them.
Cookie preferences
BALLOON uses a self-contained consent control built into this website. Your choice is stored locally in your browser; it is not sent to an external consent-management provider. External media remains disabled unless you actively allow it.
External maps, charts and videos
Interactive hospital maps use Leaflet and OpenStreetMap, recruitment charts use Google Charts, and embedded videos use the YouTube privacy-enhanced domain. These third-party services remain blocked until you allow external media. Hospital lists, recruitment data tables and direct video links remain available as alternatives.
Analytics and advertising
The does not intentionally use first-party analytics or advertising technology. This statement must be reviewed if analytics, additional plugins or other third-party services are introduced.
Before public launch
A final scan of the configured production WordPress website must identify the cookies and similar technologies actually present, including their provider, purpose and duration. The consent banner, blocked-video behaviour and consent-withdrawal control should be tested in a fresh browser session. If analytics, additional plugins or new external services are introduced, this page and the consent controls should be reviewed.
